Gerhard Kurt Penzel is a member of the Penzel bow-making dynasty, son of Kurt Walter Penzel. This bow is stamped 'EXQUISIT', a hallmark of Penzel's highest-quality bows. The silver-mounted ebony frog is inlaid with Parisian eyes, with a three-part silver adjuster with pearl facets. The side of the frog is stamped with the Penzel coat of arms.
